What 2 labels per A4 sheet means

A count of 2 per sheet does not fix the label size: the 42 sheets here use 5 sizes and 2 grids (1 × 2 and 2 blocks). Labels cover between 30 % and 34 % of the A4 page; the rest is margin and gaps.

Always choose the template by the code printed on the box: two 2-up sheets with different sizes or margins need different templates, even though the count matches. The most common size at this count is 116 mm round (27 sheets).

How many 2-up sheets you need

At 2 per sheet the arithmetic is simple: every two labels take one sheet, so a run of 250 needs 125 sheets.

Which 2-up sheet to pick

Herma 4093 is the default here because it shares its exact layout with 26 other sheets on this list, so its template prints on those too. Its labels are 116 mm (4.567″) by 116 mm (4.567″).

If you need bigger labels at the same count, the largest are 118 mm round on Sanwa LB-CDRJP; the smallest are 116 mm round on Herma 4093. LabelGrid recommends 2-up sheets for CD and DVD labels.
