What 24 labels per US Letter sheet means
A count of 24 per sheet does not fix the label size: the 11 sheets here use 4 sizes and 3 grids (4 × 6, 2 × 12 and 3 × 8). Labels cover between 53 % and 100 % of the US Letter page; the rest is margin and gaps.
Always choose the template by the code printed on the box: two 24-up sheets with different sizes or margins need different templates, even though the count matches. The most common size at this count is 1 5/8″ round (6 sheets).

Which 24-up sheet to pick
Avery 5193 is the default here because Avery codes are the usual reference for compatible sheets, and it shares its exact layout with 1 other sheet on this list, so its template prints on those too. Its labels are 1 5/8″ (41.3 mm) by 1 5/8″ (41.3 mm).
If you need bigger labels at the same count, the largest are 1 3/8″ × 2 5/6″ on OnlineLabels OL870; the smallest are 1 5/8″ round on Avery 5193. LabelGrid recommends 24-up sheets for Halloween treat bag labels, Hanukkah labels, Valentine's Day labels, Easter labels and save the date labels.
