Avery 5167 in LibreOffice Writer, step by step

-
Merge a spreadsheet
For one 5167 label per row, pick your registered spreadsheet under Database and Table on the Labels tab and insert its fields; when you print, LibreOffice asks whether to print a form letter: answer Yes.
-
Print 5167 at 100 %
File › Print: paper US Letter, no “fit to page” scaling; a plain-paper test should show 20 rows of 5167 labels 0.5 in apart.
Worked example: 80 Halloween return address labels on 5167
A merge of 80 rows prints 1 page of 80 Avery 5167 labels. Preview the first page before sending all 1 to the printer.
In the LabelGrid designer the same 80 rows go into merge mode; the free version prints the first 80 (one full 5167 sheet) and Pro removes the limit. To reuse a part-used sheet, set the start position to the first empty label.

When 5167 labels print out of line in LibreOffice Writer
- 5167 labels print on the wrong paper size: check Format › Page Style matches US Letter; LibreOffice may default to your locale's paper.

- In LibreOffice Writer, 5167 labels that drift more the lower they are mean the page was scaled: at 97 % row 20, 10.5 in from the top, lands about 0.315 in off. Print at 100 %.
